Hi there, I’m Jess Begum and I am the lead designer and owner of Fireweed Florals. I started Fireweed in 2018 after 20 years of working as a designer in the industry and after a lifetime of being an artist.

Fireweed is a wedding and event floral design studio based in Brentwood, Los Angeles, and we serve the greater Los Angeles area and we will travel anywhere. We specialize in unique, artistic floral design for your Los Angeles or destination wedding. Although wedding floral design is where we shine, we also offer one of a kind, custom designed flowers for all types of events including weddings, bridal and baby showers, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, corporate events, fundraising events, brand collaborations and home interior staging.

We feel what sets us apart from other studios is our artistic training. I am a fine art painter, and trained in color theory. I bring my artistic expertise to all of my designs. I strongly feel understanding color theory and composition is the key to making a design go from “pretty” to “show stopping!” Do you want to wow your guests? Hire an artist!
